1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Alo-Taxi App (“App”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Service Description
Alo-Taxi provides a platform that connects riders with drivers for transportation services. We are not a transportation company; the actual ride service is provided by independent drivers.
3. User Accounts
- To use the App, you must register with your real name and valid phone number.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in case of misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
4. License and Ownership
All intellectual property rights in the App and its content are owned by Alo-Taxi and/or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use only.
5. User Conduct and Content
- You agree not to post or share unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.
- You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users (drivers/riders). Alo-Taxi is not responsible for disputes, losses, or damages arising from such interactions.
6. Payments and Fares
- The fare for each ride may be shown in the App or agreed upon with the driver.
- Alo-Taxi is not responsible for disputes regarding cash payments outside the App.
- Any online payments (if provided) will be securely processed via trusted third-party providers.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Alo-Taxi provides the App “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, accidents, or loss of personal belongings during rides.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alo-Taxi shall not be liable for direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from your use of the App.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alo-Taxi, its affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

Alo-Taxi reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective once posted in the App.

Location Permissions
Our App uses location permissions to provide ride services:
- COARSE_LOCATION: allows approximate location (via Wi-Fi/cell towers) to show nearby drivers. This data is not shared with stores, advertisers, or third parties.
- FINE_LOCATION: allows precise GPS data to provide accurate pick-up and drop-off. This data is only used within the App and not shared with third parties.
- Background Location: may continue to collect location data even when the App is closed, to ensure ride tracking and accurate driver assignment.
Your Control: You may grant or deny location access at any time in your device’s settings. Denying location permissions will disable ride booking and trip notifications.
